Magnus Lindquist joins Moelven from his position as a Customer Account Manager at Setra. On 12th of August he will start the position as Sales Manager for Moelven's sawn and planed timber products in the Baltic States, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

"I'm looking forward to being involved in finding solutions that are good for both Moelven and the customers.” Says Magnus.

Early interest in the industry

It was Easter holidays in 1986 that led Magnus into the wood industry.

"A friend of mine worked at a sawmill in the small town called Vimmerby in Sweden, so I made a call to ask if I could work extra during the Easter holidays aswell, and that's where it all started.”

He has been in the industry since 1991. With previous assignments that have included everything from production to sales, research and development, he is looking forward to continuing his personal growth within Moelven.

"I hope that I can contribute to developing business in the markets I will be working with. I find it interesting to work with strategy and development issues for increased profitability. The driving force is to find new solutions that contribute to increased profitability for the entire company.

Focus on understanding and responsiveness

In Magnus' role as Sales Manager for Moelven’s  sawn and planed timber products in the Baltic States, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary, there are a couple of success factors which he would like to highlight.

"I have a great understanding of what products customers need and what characteristics the products should have. A keey for a successful business partnership is to be responsive and find solutions that are good for both Moelven and the customer."
